Our Supporters

Read to Succeed Buffalo has been generously supported by a unique partnership of like-minded foundations that have a history of strong support for education and literacy. The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, The John R. Oishei Foundation and The Margaret L. Wendt Foundation joined forces a decade ago to pool resources and funds to form the Education Fund for Greater Buffalo. That effort has evolved into Read to Succeed Buffalo and we are grateful for their continued support.

The United Way of Buffalo and Erie County is also a supporter of RTSB, specifically for the Project CARE program that infuses literacy practices and tools in participating home-based child care sites.  The Buffalo Rotary Foundation is a three-year sponsor of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program, providing free books to children age five and younger in ZIP code 14215.  Canterbury Woods Senior Living Community has also partnered with RTSB to support and enhance programming for Project CARE sites.

The U.S. Department of Education, The Josephine Goodyear Foundation, Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation and M&T Bank have also funded specific initiatives.

Contributions from individual supporters also help to fund the work of RTSB.
