Read to Succeed Buffalo Names New Board Officers

Read to Succeed Buffalo, an organization dedicated to improving literacy in Buffalo, named the Judge Betty Calvo-Torres chairwoman of the board of directors for 2010. Calvo- Torres, a Buffalo City Court judge, has served on the Read to Succeed board as vice chairwoman. Other officers: Vice chairman, Vincent Clark, director of Community Relations for the University at Buffalo; treasurer, Joseph J. Castiglia, retired president and CEO of Pratt&Lambert; and secretary, Rev. Richard Stenhouse, pastor of the Bethel AME Church and head of the Jeremiah Project.
