Research shows that when children are not prepared for Kindergarten,
they are more likely to continue to fall behind and academic success
becomes more difficult to attain as they get older.
This leads to frustration, higher drop out rates, an inability to get
good paying jobs, and ultimately, increased potential for living in
poverty.
Read to Succeed Buffalo is a non-profit organization fighting to open doors for all children to ensure their success in school. Our focus is on giving children the language and literacy skills they need for a strong start in Kindergarten.
Read to Succeed is determined to provide the keys that open the doors to
academic success, and to a positive future for the children of our
community.
We do this in partnership with nearly 50 organizations to
collaboratively build models that will improve skills that lead to
success in school and success in life.
We are beginning to see success in the new models that we have put in place. Click on the links to learn more about our initiatives, including Early Reading First and Project CARE.
