Local education advocates are preparing for Buffalo's entry in the All-America City Grade-Level Reading Award competition. A forum at 9:30 a.m. in WNED-TV studios, sponsored by Read to Succeed Buffalo, will include information from three subcommittees that are developing strategies to help local schoolchildren read at the level they should.

Amber Dixon, interim superintendent of the Buffalo Public Schools, will be among the participants.
