Read to Succeed (RTS) announced the appointment of Jennifer Hamilton to serve on its board of directors.

Hamilton currently serves as the Director of the Office of Employee Advocacy & Fairness for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is responsible for overseeing the Office of Employee Advocacy & Fairness and making recommendations to assist the office in aligning its strategy with Roswell Park’s community mission.

“We are very fortunate to be adding Jennifer to our board of directors as her extensive background in employee advocacy and psychology will provide guidance to our staff and leadership,” said Read to Succeed Executive Director Anne Ryan.

Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Medaille College. She has earned a certification in Clinical Leadership from the Harvard Business School Buffalo Chapter. She resides in the city of Buffalo.

Read to Succeed also announced that Hon. Betty Calvo-Torres, founding board member, Board Chair and most recently Nominating and Governance Chair, will be stepping down from the board.

“We are extremely grateful for Judge Calvo-Torres’ service and commitment to Read to Succeed’s mission and vision for young children in Buffalo. Judge Calvo-Torres has been instrumental in expanding our services throughout Buffalo and now Niagara Falls City Schools,” added Ryan.
